The Turkish tiles have a very strong structure due to the fact that they contain 85% quartz. This feature enables the tiles to be used in external applications as well as in interior applications in architectural applications.

The mystery and admiration of Turkish tiles is due to the successful combination of three quartz layers consisting of dough, lining and glaze, which are described as very difficult to achieve technologically in the ceramic literature.

The colors used are influenced by the colors of the semi-precious stones. For example; Coral Red, Malachite or Green of the Firuze, like the dark blue of Lapis Lazuli. Pattern designs reflect the flora and fauna of our country as well as allegorical and symbolic values. Geometric braided arrangements in the tiles are the reflection of the relationship between the sky and the heavenly rules and the cosmic thought.

The inscriptions and writings generally do not contain texts that are pretentious in meaning, and glorify the person, and reflect the Islamic thought and philosophy.
